How do I pair with my partner?
After downloading the app, you'll receive a unique 6-character pairing code. Share this code with your partner, and they can enter it in their app to connect. Once paired, you'll be able to answer questions together and see each other's responses.
Is I Choose You free?
I Choose You is freemium. Free includes 3 questions per day — from the daily challenge topic or any pack you choose — plus photo sharing to your widget, vibe check, and the gratitude dragon. A subscription unlocks unlimited questions per day and the shared drawing feature.
Using the App
How do question packs work?
Question packs are collections of thoughtfully crafted questions organized by themes (relationships, life goals, fun topics, etc.). Browse available packs, select one that interests you, and start answering questions together with your partner.
Can I see my partner's answers?
Yes! Once both you and your partner have answered a question, you'll be able to see each other's responses. This encourages honest reflection before seeing what your partner wrote.
What happens if I unpair?
If you unpair from your partner, your shared conversations will no longer be accessible. Both you and your partner can pair with new people using fresh pairing codes.
Account & Subscription
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select I Choose You and tap Cancel Subscription
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and all associated data through the app settings. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Troubleshooting
The pairing code isn't working
Make sure you're entering the code exactly as shown, including proper capitalization. Codes are case-sensitive. If problems persist, try generating a new code.
My answers aren't syncing
Ensure you have a stable internet connection. I Choose You requires internet access to sync your answers with your partner. If issues continue, try logging out and back in.
